Deeper
Dive into my heart
Push past the hurt
Tear down
My walls

Show me
Arms of safety
A bountiful garden
Like summer fields
That spring forth
Life and joy
Beauty and love
Far from the regret
Of yesterday’s pain
And torment

Wash away the tears
From the unwelcomed visit
Of far too many
Lonely years

Discover my light
Let it shine
Bright, brighter
Than any star before

Let me surrender
In your embrace
Lay with trusting
Vulnerability
In the warmth
Of your space

Tell me
It’s only
You and I together
Tell me, you love me

It’s forever.
