My take on the baby to man dilemna (dilemma, another story in that apparently).
TEMPORAL
I barely moved,
Ambling slowly,
Almost crawling,
The child played, oblivious;
I stood up,
Moving faster,
Walking casually,
A teen saw life through tinted lenses;
I began running,
Faster, and more to the finish,
Embracing speed with gusto,
The man realized the years had slipped by;
I started the process anew, with another,
My speed never changing,
Forever from the beginning,
Perception – the only change.
