Just my thoughts on when a relationship ends. I have two ex-wives though I was divorced a long time ago. My last divorce was in nineteen eighty eight. I have found it has been impossible to trust any female since. And still often think it was more my fault than my ex-wives. Or am I a coward or a wimp? But many couples do survive and have much happier tales than mine, equally I am sure there are many with worse. The Foureyed Poet.

That tenderness is missing in your voice
your touch has lost that gentle carress.
A distance where once we were close
a strained aura has replaced the calm.
Instead of that loving look in your eye
now a realisation we had been living a lie.

Where once we openly said I love you
nothing is said in kindness anymore.
Our looks are avoided or redirected
coldness has replaced the warmth.
That moment is near for us to say
our relationship we must call it a day.

Two souls trying to live in the same space
in unison but often it is not the case.
Finding it impossible for them to blend
resulting in either an unhappy or mutual end.
