A woman who briefly has an out-of-mind experience and who later comes back to her senses.

Cold but tepid waters

draining down the sink

Flying from my mind

for a short time

Oh what should I think

Releasing my inhibitions

I let it drain

Free to wash away the impurities

of my floor

Creating a wave passed the open door

 Climbing down the steps

The clear, pure, but forever wet

The tears of mine

Leave my eye

Once dropped to the floor

I let them dry

With their salty taste left on my tongue

I finally realize what have I done

Now standing in a pool of water

The sink running

Why couldn’t I have stopped it sooner

No need to wade in what has fallen to the

ground

But to rejoice that now awake

My mind I have found.
