Poem about joy.
Terrible Joy
With all this terror,
horrible and smothering,
there is still joy to be found,
but finding it will take wondering.
Terror is fear that holds you down.
Infested with darkness and despair,
but I try to dispel it because
still there’s light…
The terror is apt to get worse,
its breathing, raspy and coarse.
We must overcome because
still there’s light…
Terror is like a horrible scream.
“Ahhh!”
It sucks all away from you,
but at the end of the tunnel
still there’s light.
Terror is a tricky panther
Sneaking upon you in the dark
And holding you in an ardent way but
still there’s light.
