Final in the Web series for cites I loved; the Big Apple.

I,
Came and,
You welcomed,
With open arms.
I stayed but a few days but I did fly…

Down your towering tree-lined avenues,
Meandering,
Social ways,
Divine,
Pals.

Mates,
Did I,
Find friendly,
Happy, welcome,
Gregarious town of many parts thus.

Nothing disappoints you as you mingle,
With folk from all,
Lands, towns, vales,
Nations,
Here.

Song,
Written,
For New York,
Is justified,
A dazzling, tempting, wild, alluring town.

Great series. I’m just an old country boy and without your pictorical poems I would never have visited any of these cities. Thanks.
