While the mystery of life unfolds within the limits of our undestanding, the mystery of death is beyond our contemplation. We can, however, arrive at an indefinite conclusion as to what is in store for the soul beyond the “border crossing.”
Down the path of oblivion, mysterious,
into an unchartered, indescribable sphere,
enters the soul, back to the source –
elements of dust, the wind and rain,
the clouds, the snow, and other aspects
of Nature, surrounding life.
Call it the “border crossing,”
beyond which is another dimension;
or call it life again, or a transcendence
to a higher plane — a state of not being
born again.
