A poem about the Eurostar train.

“Thank God for Eurostar”

The introduction of the Eurostar meant

that my fear of flying had come to an end

The air was replaced by rail and I knew it could not fail

To be good to be true? No, it was more …excellent in fact. I am still so happy that we met

The Eurostar was born and I could go places, see familiar faces.. my family and friends…in the Netherlands

Exploring Paris, a wish come true, where else would I see the Eiffel Tower, Mont Matre and of course the Mona Lisa too?

Thank God for Eurostar, as I would have never been able to see these most beautiful sceneries, from The Netherlands, to Belgium to France

I say Viva la Eurostar for giving me this chance!
