I must of been an idiot

To believe you were the one.

I gave you my all;

Yet you never did call.

I waited maybe entirely to long,

But my heart couldn’t let me move on.

It kept beating. . .

Thinking you would come back.

Love is blind;

Though so are you

I was the best thing,

God had gave  you.

We started in high school,

And that’s where it ended.

Truth be told,

I wouldn’t change a minute.

Yeah you broke my heart;

Still i forgave you with every part

You taught me so much

So i cant come to hate you. .
