Today I had the most horrid day at work,

My boss was yelling and I just couldn’t take it no more.

I ran out of work, right into Starbucks!

And sipped on my favorite coffee and thought about life.

I thought about all that I had done so far,

I realized, I had achieved a lot,

But none of it made me feel good or even smile.

I still kept thinking what was it in my life?

Suddenly your face flashed before my eyes,

Your sparkling eyes, twinkling smile,

Sweet perfume, soft kiss, infectious chuckle,

And instantly I was happy to be among the living!

Thank you for always being there!

And most of all, Thank you for loving me.
