To the troop’s  that came home in boxes
I salute you
I thank and honor you for giving your soul
To the red, white, and blue.
Never will you brave individuals be forgotten
So rest in peace because this is true
You will live forever in the memories of your family and country
Even in the thoughts of people you never knew.
That’s why I hold my flag high with my right hand across my heart
Because I know we share the same views
