…I’m lucky to have found along my way.
As life goes on
From day to day
We are often blessed
With folks along our way.
At least I am
And always have been
For when I’m in need
God sends someone in.
One particular male friend
Has always been kind
He’s also helped me often
When I’ve fallen behind.
He’s been a Saviour
In so many ways
If only just to lend an ear
As I move on towards better days.
He’s held a lot of Faith In Me
Through all the time that’s passed
Of all those who’ve believed in me
He is one of the last.
So for myself
And for him too
I’m working harder
To prove what I can do.
For I know who I am
And I really love Me
So I honestly have No Doubts
As to how good my life will be.
A life with more time for giving and sharing
To thank all who have been in my wake
For God created me for really great things
So I know I’ll have all after this time I take.
But to my friend I say thank you
Thank you very much
Thank you for your time and your assistance as well
But I thank you mostly for staying in touch.
