Evolution of a female character.
She used to be that girl
who would stand and fight.
But as years passed,
they took all her might.
She was tough from the start,
but time took her world apart.
So fragile and weak
is how she appeared.
Yet still, she tried
to cover up the tears.
She shut people out,
‘’cause she lived in doubt
of the day that someone
would bring her down.
Yet, that day still came,
bearing her name,
breaking her heart,
causing so much pain.
She still made it,
through all that strife
to get where she
Is, today in life.
And friend that girl
did not meet her end,
‘Cause she, is I,
and I’ve been set free
My enemies never fade,
That’s no problem,
I am not afraid .
Is it wrong to hate ,
what you once thought was great?
Thank you for love,
and thank you for hate.
I now know the difference.
I Hope its not to late.
That girl is all they can see.
That girl is no longer me .
My hate has set me free.
But is that girl still me?
So here I stand,
trying to understand
the memories of so long ago
of the girl so few know.
