I have to apologise to the ancient China Tang Dynasty poet Li Bai, as my first line here is a direct translation from one of his famous poems, though the rest of the lines, obviously are not.
Hope you like this one. By the way, it did not happened last night but earlier night.
:)

Bed front bright moon light

Mosquitoes disturb whole night

Twist from left to right

Trying to sleep tight

Eee here comes the mosquito

Eee there my sleep goes

Eee here comes a hard Smack!

Ha ha ha that goes that insect!

Star, what a coincidence. Mosquito kissed me several times last night. Pity that I failed to reward him to heaven. So, he may send unauthorized kiss tonight. ~ Sigh ~ Happy New Year to you. Happy always, my friend.

I know the feeling well. Mosquitoes seem to love me when I go on holiday to Italy in the summer. I am always covered in bites when I return home. A really cute poem.

It’s amazing how something so small can be so very annoying. They even have the audacity to warn you they are coming (like a dive bomber) – lol.
