A poem about someone I saw today.
That Lady in red so proudly walked
It’s as if she cared what no man thought.
Her delicate lips, so skilfully painted,
Her radiant hair, so long and so fair.
O, be it in the stars that I be acquainted
With one so luscious and rare.
It is hard to imagine, I know
Of the beauty that was there aglow.
She had a pure and perfect physique
With skin like the moon through a misty sky.
She is surely of something unique,
For her looks no man could decry
Whilst morning sun beams from above,
It is of her I think of,
For her smile is yet brighter still.
And it sets my heart aflame
Yet fills me with an unearthly chill
Such is the nature of this great dame.
O, of all things sublime
This was beauty divine!
