This one is for my uncle, who thinks he is the best golfer in the world, yet he still just can’t seem to get himself one of these…
That feeling so sweet that’s deep in your soul
Nothing but you and that one simple goal
In your mind that task is already done
You Knew from the start that this was the one
You look at the ball and swing once or twice
Making sure your swing is sweet and precise
You pause for a second to look for your spot
That one and only space for that one perfect shot
Stepping to the ball you put your club in it’s place
Waiting for that moment that your heart starts to race
You pull back your club with such style and grace
And let loose your fury like it’s a battle hardened mace
The ball soars high as it’s sent on it’s way
Instantly you know you will remember this day
That feeling so sweet that’s deep in your soul
When that ball bounces twice and drops in the hole
