A picture is worth a thousand words. It is utterly amazing the profound things children will say. They are very close to the heart of God.

On the way to work and school the other day, my daughter, Sarah, saw a beautiful sunrise. She grabbed her digital camera, hopped out of the car and took a picture. When she got back into the car, four-year-old David asked, “What are you doing, Mommy?” “Taking a picture of the sunrise. Do you want to see?” she said as she showed him the picture. “Mommy, that’s God!”
The world needs to get a glimpse of God though the eyes of a child once in awhile
When creation’s beauty overwhelms
And the painted skies proclaim,
“That’s God!”
When the mountains do rejoice
And the little hills shout His name,
“That’s God!”
When man cannot explain
How these things came to be,
That’s God.
When a sinner cries in despair
To the one who answers prayer,
That’s God.
When we have all earned Hell
But receive Heaven instead,
That’s God.
When we wander from His way
And He restores us once again,
That’s God.
When I kneel to pray
And the answer’s on its way,
That’s God.
When I feel a need
And then it is supplied,
That’s God.
When I travel through the vale
And there’s one who walks beside,
That’s God.
Lead us, Father, lead us
Through this world of sin
And take us home to Glory
Where Thy beauty just begins.
