Witty poem about an alligator that wanted to take a bite out of me.

The alligator looked at me.

“May I please take a bite out of thee?”

I told the alligator not on your life.

“May I please take a bite out of your dear sweet wife?”

I got very angry and I said,

“If you attack my wife, I’ll beat you on the head.”

The alligator declined to eat us that day.

He just looked around for another unsuspecting prey.
