This is a poem about ants. It describes how an ant views and the world and himself.

The Ant

The world is so big

And I’m so small

That’s not how I view it all

I labor night and day

And never disobey

Cooperation will go a long way

I always save my find

In case the rain would pour

And sun won’t shine

To fall in line

And never whine

That is how we make things fine

Patience, diligence, dedication

Discipline, perseverance and cooperation

Are values worth my citation!

To my queen

I pledge my loyalty

And promise to serve thee

Never underestimate what I can do

I can carry heavy loads

Just like you
