Poem comparing life to traveling. / Painting by Pam Moeck.
Arriving at destination
Humid air greets
me with an unfamiliar caress
No one at the station
to help or be a guide
Alone I am in this
strange land
New opportunities
yet untried
Each day an
arrival
to yesterday’s
revival
Traveling forever to
destinations unknown
