Viewing is the art of appreciation from another writer who has been viewed.

Do you view?

Then you’ll be viewed.

Do it without attitude.

What your viewing

isn’t  really good, then

direct the writer to

the Writing-hood.

Viewing mean that you support,

the art of viewing and the sport.

Thank you for your views,

and know that I intend to

do the same for you.

I thought awhile about not saying anything, but your writing skills are lacking enough for you to need to hear this, so you’re just going to have to swallow your pride and forgive the “attitude” that you’re most likely going to read into this commet:

No amount of gentle prodding or encouragement (or puffery like the above) seems to be helping you become a better writer.

It looks like you need to RE-view your work for errors. (See many other articles in writinghood about how to — and the importance of — reviewing your own work before posting it.) Please — I’m begging you, stop before you hit submit, highlight your work, copy and paste it into a real word processor, and then spell- and grammar-check it. Better yet, start the writing process in a word processor. Even poetry has to make linguistic and somatic sense.

Do you not realize that readers judge your seriousness as a writer by the quality of your grammar and spelling and your prose style? I’ve read a few of your writings, and the lack of interest that I’ve seen you show your own writing tells me that you are not a writer to be taken seriously. You need to put some good habits into practice and break some bad ones.

Nice one. Looking at the long list here, you’ve got your work cut out.

  • Stickinthemud on Mar 19, 2010

So, what you’re saying is “tit for tat”? Yeah, I’ll agree that most of triond’s members look at it that way. I like getting feedback that tells me if I missed something or messed something up, though. I re-read my stuff, but I know that because I’m used to reading my own words I’m going to miss something. Plus, it’s hard to get a feel for how what I write is received unless someone tells me.

    Thanks for sharing.
