A poem of hope and optimism.

I looked up worried at the azure sky.

It seemed the cloud began to spread the gloom.

They hovered – the shining rays – they defy,

And cast their wings of sadness and of doom.

Rain pelted hard and drum-like on the ground.

Like hoofbeats  that could thunder on and on.

My heart went limpid and was drowned,

by vicious onslaught form the storm- bygone.

I sadly thought that it would never cease.

But even storms – they always come to pass.

Just like a woman’s shimmering pelisse,

The brilliant sun has shone again, at last!
