Remembering Saturday night dances in the country.
There’s a big old moon,
Just a shinning;
Outside it’s a Saturday night.
The boys in the band,
Are tuning up;
They’re going to play,
The fiddles just right.

Down in the town hall,
The music plays;
Young cowboys line the walls.
They’ll risk it all,
For the chance to fall,
In love with a young lady tonight.

It’s old time rock n roll,
Mixed with country soul;
Songs that sound like gold.
So if you want to have fun,
Then loosen up some.
Just stop what you’re doing and go.
Out on the dance floor,
The young couples sway;
As the fiddle softly plays.
Yes and as they dance,
Beneath the bright moonlight,
They’ll fall in love tonight.
