In “My Week with Marilyn,” the actress they chose to portray the icon is Michelle Williams (from Broke Back Mountain, Dawson’s Creek, etc.) Other than both of them being blond, I did not see any other similarities between the two. Then I saw a picture of Michelle Williams dressed like the icon and it wasn’t bad.

In “Blond” the actress is Naomi Watts. She is another I would have never chosen to play Marilyn Monroe. Then again, maybe they see something I don’t.
