A sunny day poem, sitting on the beach in contemplation.

Sitting on the sand, watching the boats in the water
Yachts with massive sails, bright little kayaks
Motor launches anchored off the beach
Owners who have all ready rowed to the shore
in their rubber dinghy and are baking on the white coarse sand
Streams of people parade pass me
Very much like the masses in the mall
Instead of high fashion clothes, they are suntanned and almost naked
Walking and talking, sharing good times
On this fine sunny day

This was another great poem. Have you been writing poetry very long?

As a child I loved to write especially stories, then came my children and no time to write, I have really gotten back into it in the past seven years! Whats your story?

I love to write too. I didn’t really like to write as a kid though. It was weird. Now that I’m older, I love it. I write soap columns for Days Of Our Lives and Passions. That’s how I got practice for writing. Whenever I would watch something, I always questioned it and that’s when I decided to write columns about it.

Lucy, this paints a great picture of the beach (per your descript) and a very thoughtful and observant artist! Great work and style!
