The waves crash over me
Strong powerful, unrelenting
Again, again
They crash

I feel the sting of salted spray
I feel the crispness of moving
Waves

Among the current, I remain
Within the breeze,
My heart stays

The sun shines stronger
Warmer
I am healed from the inside out

No one can pull me down
No one can reach up and attempt to drown
My spirit, my love

For it will only grow, with every step I take
With every move
With every thought, I partake

Within the beauty found in my heart
That no one can ever take.
