A poem about the beauty of life.
The Beauty of Life
The presence of freedom,
the essence of faith.
An abundance of love;
The meaning of life.
Parks fought for these once,
and MLK too;
as evil grew stronger,
and inequality accrued.
The pro-rights force multiplied,
as disparity grew;
As sit-ins began,
and violence ensued.
And out came liberty,
a forgo of blood;
A result of the non-violent force,
against the conservatives’ dud.
A change of a history’s nation,
twenty-nine times sent to jail,
and end to discrimination;
a freedom trail.
