Most of the time we are pregant with a dream and yearn for the day it will materialise. Sometimes the dream manifest in a way we did not anticipate and we have a choice to reject it and forever be misearable or accept it and nurter it to fruitation. God’s ways are mysterious and before you reject someone or something make sure you are not rejecting God’s will for your life.

            My belly protrudes with weight

            My fingers and legs bloated

My eyes dark for want of sleep

The baby due, the world to witness

Anxious to push and let go

            My belly cries for freedom

With might I push to let

Out the baby comes with a bang!

            to me the baby presented

Urgh! I scream and refuse it

            Weak and hopeless it looks!

            Another baby offered

Beautiful to the eye, not mine

My soul needing my ‘ugly’ baby

Bring my baby, I cry with need!

I lay the baby to my breast

            close to heart, nurturing, caring

            My baby transformed in love

            beautiful and strong with hope.

Blind I was but now I see!
