There upon a snowy field.

Image via Wikipedia

There upon a snowy field,

the flowers petals willing yield;

their beauty risen from the snow,

promising for e’er to grow

and she delighted kissed him warm,

giving love a beauty form;

deeply wanting more of her,

he swore his love completely sure.

With bodies pressed together tight,

they held each other through the night;

and delighting in the breaking day,

she bid him hasten on his way

and gathering the petals fair,

she returned once more to heavens air;

singing songs of earthly love,

she took her place upon high above;

and sighing in her angels gown,

she planted seed upon the ground;

and when again the petals bloom,

the lovers waltz they will resume.

    i came by
    through ur blog
    and realised my folly

    ur no old man sir
    if poetry alone is your hobby
    some may still call you bobby

    but if love making is your hobby
    i wonder why
    for the poem
    i did cry
    awaiting the removal of the iv needle
    perhaps your’e having fun
    more than me
    bigpapadan carry on
    for i still praise thee ,
    no, not you ,sire
    your lovers poetry,
    at this youth ful age
    of just perhaps
    a little over sixty
    too old for me!
