Again, U.S. intelligence is conceded after last week’s terrorist nearly blow up a plane flying to Detroit, the United States. Conceded this time was, a suicide bomber strolled into the field headquarters of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) in Khost, Afghanistan, as invited.
As a result of the bombing on Wednesday, December 30, 2009, seven people suspected CIA agent died, including the head of the team that identified as the mother of three children. Six persons were injured in what the agency considered the deadliest attack to the CIA since the war in Afghanistan began in 2001.
Two former U.S. officials disclose the facts embarrassing to the Associated Press that the bomber was actually invited in by the CIA without being scanned. One official, former CIA officials, said the man bomber was considered as informants and for the first time he was invited to enter into the secret headquarters.
The man may not be scanned to gain his trust. A former CIA officials of other states, is usually somewhat relaxed security for a candidate of potential informants. “When you try to get a report and ask them risked his life for you, all you have to do is build trust.”
But CIA officials denied the claim. CIA spokesman, George Little, said it is too early to draw conclusions about something that happened only yesterday. “At this time the CIA were collecting evidence related details about the incident,” he said.
