I am just a country boy
Who has dream big -
More than myself, I purpose;
In my heart to beat my fears,
And doubts to objectively reach
My goal in pursuit of happiness.

I trained my body, and trimmed it so hard
With my mind together with my heart,
I often run alone every day
To heighten my stamina, and keep it in place,
And fit to face any challenger at bay;
Ready to win, never to fail.

I am a fighter in the ring,
I throw my punches, unique in style,
Straight, combination, uppercut, or cross,
If you can’t parry those quick blows,
Your knees will shake, soon you’re out,
So you’d be better standing strong.

Here I am in daily routine,
Watching my weight in needed scheme,
The food I take must have plenty of nutrients,
Strict time to sleep and time to rise,
All must be on definite time frame,
These are the boxer’s lifeline story.
