Emitting sparks of ingenuity,
wondrous in its function,
is a mass of gray matter,
rooted within the confines
of a realm wherein enthroned
are senses reigning in harmony –
sovereigns in full regalia,
working in regular unison
and control over all else.
The brain fulfills life’s purpose,
rising above negative elements
and at the same time, embracing
life-sustaining positive forces –
cascades of intellectual enrichment
bearing down magnanimously
upon the plane of humanity,
reflecting colorful images,
stupendous creativity,
taking off on powerful, expansive
pinions, soaring higher and higher
beyond the pale of mundanity,
into the outer reaches
of continuity, orbiting around
the soul’s planet,
on an exploratory quest, 
hovering on the very periphery 
of God’s dimensionless Kingdom.
