Poem:

Emitting sparks of ingenuity

wondrous in its function,

is a mass of gray matter,

rooted within the confines

of a realm wherein enthroned

are interdependent senses

that relate to one another.

The body’s overall uses

stem from the brain

which can be likened

to a ship’s compass,

directing it across oceans

of harmony when Life’s

good weather prevails,

or turbulence  through

raging storms of misery.
