A short piece of prose about delivering karma unto those who have done ill towards others.

With the bright hand of swift justice

Lightning rains down with great force

Upon the brows of upturned faces

As they seek an end to themselves.

A mere wandering specter of life

Which even now blasts its eyes

With wide open sight

Upon the landscape of the hapless

The hopeless and the futile.

There is nothing that is charming

In the delivery of quickened karma

There is only the satisfaction

The fulfillment and the giving.

Take now this darkened gaze

Take it and see what it sees

Breathe in the life it breathes

May it cease as it must cease.

With fire coursing through vein

Purging long and hard the profane

The dastardly and those to blame

May misfortune upon them rain

As dark goes the lightnings bane.

What now to have but hell to dream

Now to find no rest in sleep

Forever to be rent asunder

Forever to so calmly be

Tortured with enmity.
