Dip and float in beauty.

I am blind, to you
While walking steadily, cautiously
Toward you

I feel the floor falling out, beneath me
I feel my heart echoing
In the night

The sound is poignant
There are drips, there are steps
The landlord said he’d fix it
Tomorrow

What does it matter?
When the electric bill sits
Staring back at you
When past pictures
Collect dust in corners
Where no eyes ever really want to see

And my attention drifts back to that tree, it used to comfort me
That bench, it was my sanctuary

And now, the fence helps support my beauty
I lean on it and breathe in
Breathe in calmly, freely
Take the deepest sigh
And, breathe in the sea

The salted air coats
The brunette tresses that
Flip and dip, and float
In the sky

That white polished stone moved a little from the other day
And, he was wearing a small baseball cap
His daddy gave it to him on his birthday
When he almost took it home
When suddenly
That brilliant monarch
Instead, caught his fancy

This is very good. As a song writer I never could quite get the poetic balance that this has.
