Poem about bull riding. Portrays both rider and bull as heroes. Strong poem.

The bull grunts and snarls inside his cage,
His angry eyes seem full of rage.
The young man’s life is on the line,
Yet we never hear him cry or whine.
He sees the bull and locks his gaze,
He’s dreamt about this moment for days.
Both stand ready as the crowd starts to yell,
Only one will be standing at the sound of the bell.
Eight seconds doesn’t seem all that long,
Both man and beast are prepared to stand strong.
