I made this checklist as a tool

My memory is not as it should

As I shop and do other task

The checklist is my mind spoon

I know what I want

Yet the mental wheels sometime slips

As the black hairs turn grayish

The checklist keeps me from looking foolish

I keep it close to my person

And check it from time to time

It seem to be getting longer

While time to completion

Keeps getting shorter

The content in the list mature during my life

It harder to fill than to write down

My checklist is personal to me

It contain the things I want to see

My hope is that my list will be wiser

One writer wish and request

If I misplace or lose my checklist

I will not remember or look my best

As I finish and complete each task

The checklist of life will be retired

A new checklist will be started

Without limits or bounds

Except it will be checked off by the creator
