Life is about one choice or another it so seems. A minor choice could be what you want on a hamburger at McDonalds. But if a choice affects who you love and the people in it, that’s a bit tougher.

 The Choices We Make

The choices we make in our lives can

costs us dearly,

the price we pay can either be small

or big one.

But if you are willing to pay the price

required,

the price for doing right is very well

worth it.

I wanted to go to college after high

school,

studying plants,trees,shrubs and

such things.

But I fooled around and got pregnant

instead,

my oldest daughter is well worth

no college.

All Orlando wanted is to work on the

river,

for being a river man was in his blood

he said.

But a bunch of lies ended his career

one year,

Orlando now works for the park district

instead.

****

Janis is an above excellent artist and can

draw,

you tell her and she is capable of drawing

it for you.

She refuses to attend art school to earn

a living,

such a talent like that shouldn’t go to waste

but it is.

****

My mom Mary got pregnant at fifteen years

old,

my grandparents made her give up the baby

then.

My mom is now older with seven other kids

thats grown,

she had to do what was best for the baby

back then.

Payge met and fell head over heals in love

with William,

William turned out to be what she needed

then.

They were supposed to be married and live

together,

he may marry again but this time it wont be

to me now.

For Payge had to make a very heartbreaking

decision,

marry William or save my way word daughters

life.

Being her mom I did what it took to get Janis

home,

I couldn’t bear the thought of my oldest child

being hurt.

But Payge paid a high price for saving her

daughter,

losing the man that meant everything in my

blue eyes.

William told me that I chose to save the wrong

party,

I should have chosen him instead of saving my

daughter.

But there is no regret though he is long gone

now,

he didn’t understand the love I had for a child

in distress.

You sometimes have to play for all or nothing

on occasion,

he was the loser and I gambled and got my

daughter back.

So even if your child is three or even thirty

one,

they still need a parent to be there for them

always.

I can get another man if that is what I wanted

anymore,

but it would have broke my heart to have to bury

my child.

So choose wisely before you make a big decision

for the future,

for it could cost you nothing or everything in the

very end.

William will forever hold my decision against me

I know,

But in my heart I was right and he was the one

wrong again.

If a man cannot understand a mother\’s love for her child then it is his problem. If a man truely loves you he will accept everything about you. A touching piece.
