Have you started your Christmas shopping yet? Any ideas?

Are you looking for a present to top all the ones you’ve seen?

Are you trying to dazzle someone; maybe that picky teen?

Have you listened to the hints and pondered this and that

But really are just clueless and your wallet kind of flat?

Have you been online researching, typed in every kind of code?

Wondering what to buy this year, traveled every road?

Looked at all the how-tos to see what you could make

But just not sure these gifts have all that it would take…

Can happiness be gift wrapped and packaged with a bow?

My money is kind of tight now, so I really want to know.

I looked into the manger, and guess what I did see.

The tiny baby Jesus looking up at me.

It is the Christ child’s birthday. It’s not yours or mine

It is to celebrate Jesus that Christmas was designed.

So if my cash is shaky, and I know it is.

I want to share with you a great big Christmas kiss.

A wonderful message. Christmas has become so materialistic. It is good to be reminded what Christmas is actually all about.
