Poem.
Ascend the ladder,
but take your time.
and keep an eye on the clouds
as you climb.
Because the climax is finite.
You’ll reach it before long.
and when you’ve found the end,
you’ll realize you were wrong.
Don’t ever think you’re finished,
because when you have it all,
there’s nowhere to go but down,
and down you will fall.
