Alarm is set to go off unannounced
Tick Tick Tick
The clock dial spins backwards
Portrayed reversal in my mind
Incomprehensible of real time
Unknown is what is the time
What is the hour
How much time is it?
When was my alarm set?
Tick Tick Tick
Is this all a waste
Is time on my side
Or will my time be cut short
Before I am accomplished
When I ask what time
Do not respond
I hear my dial click
