It may create the ambiance

Of them being

An authority figure

In their respective fields

As upholding certain principles

Being persons to be trusted

Or individuals to rely on

For guidance

Being adorned in a swimming suit

Might be a desire to keep cool

While a clown in his outfit

Dresses to generate laughs

Rock stars are entertainers

That go all out

To dazzle their audiences

With glitz and glamor

While belting out

Our favorite songs

Some plays like the Wizard of Oz

Have characters that transport us

Into a land of fantasy

By their characterization

And appealing costumes
