Maybe he was the Easter Bunny in training. Squirrels are excellent rabbit trainers, I’m serious, it’s on Wikipedia.

I have never seen it before but t here is a first time for everything. How neat is that,? squirrels and rabbits making friends.

Well – at least squirrels and rabbits are on pretty much the same level of the food chain…not like a fox and a squirrel. I think I remember a squirrel who had a friend who was a moose…

Times like that make me wish for a telephoto camera.

Mark I agree I wish I could have gotten a better picture but every time I got too close he hopped away. Anyway I had fun with the poem and I still see him all the time.

That was a rare case to see a squirrel and a rabbit gathered at the same spot. But this was a good sign though. Great poem as usual, liked it.

Squirrels and rabbits as friends, that sounds interesting. As Bo Jack said why not put some carrots for the rabbit to feast it daily.
