Out enjoying the country and the scenery that it provides, being enlightened with clearing of the mentation and any inner strife. Letting loose and letting go running through the fields and over the hills, walking barefoot in the dirt, and the streams and branches cool and clear.

The smell of lilacs fill the air.

The wind blows through my hair.

Butterflies dance along the fields

and up and down each mound and hills.

It is such a clear day

that I can see far and away.

I love the country for its simple

yet intense beauty.

Everywhere there is a garden

bountiful with nutrition

that everyone can see.

The dirt roads that one

can walk barefoot on

where the remnance of lizard

tracks can be seen

which is now long gone.

I step into the cool branch

to wash and cool my feet

from the hot dirt.

The little minnows

dodge and flirt.

I am so happy on days like this.

It fills me with internal bliss.

I can’t control myself.

I take off running through the fields,

with the weeds and flowers

brushing my face.

What a glorious place.

It clears my mind of

all that is bad,

and gives me thoughts

of grandeur, causing me to feel glad.

From the streams and hills

of the country side

and in a one on one fashion,

I am enriched in spirit.

For the beauty of this place

has been my guide.

I will come back again one day soon

for another joyous romp and ride.

DB…sounds so inviting, relaxing and restorative. Care for some company? Thanks for such a refreshing write, read and romp. It is like a breath of spring and if the Groundhog didn’t see his shadow at your place yesterday, then spring can’t be far off. I Like It and have voted to say so.

The outdoors are beautiful; and this beauty can help to heal us. I find serenity in the outdoors, in the parks since I live in the city. This was an enjoyable read for me on a cold morning in Pittsburgh.

Enjoy the nature. They are so lovely if we can sense it right.
