A poem I wrote after watching The Cove.
A story once unknown,
Now brought to light.
Your suffering was not in vain.
As the world now joins the fight.
Modern-day slaves,
Unable to speak.
Homesick and tortured,
Depressed and weak.

Your self-awareness,
Shows your inner-soul.
Your families butchered,
Now takes a central role.
In ending this genocide fed by greed,
It won’t stop until you’re all freed.
Oh my! Those poor dolphins.
