A poem entailing the very first limited exciting emotions an ex lover feels when he happily discovers a one sided relationship has been ended.
As the suns rays began to touch down on the earth and the dark clouds beginning to clear from the sky,
As the night slowly breaks away
And darkness gives way to light,
Has realization like showers of rain drops, drum down on me,
Enabling me to see that I was just been mesmerized by that which was vanity,
A dream that could never me, in a shadow of a desire that was unnecessary
I’m glad the blind folds are gone,
And I can truly see what in and misery you’ve been to me.
Now I can gladly lift my head up,
Breathe deeply into my chest and say to myself,
“The chains have finally been cast away and I can clearly see my way, 180 degrees away from you”.
