The Day He Realized.
He awoke one morn,
To find himself
In a state unknown
His mind
Detached from
His body
Physical,
Mental,
Both apart
From each other
His brain,
Filled with queer thoughts
That reverberated
Through his head
Staring
For hours on end
At a leaf
Floating in a pond
Great wisdom
Pulled forth
In a way
Some call
Madness
Random spurts of
Knowledge
Unacceptable by humankind
And then,
Midday came
And he realized
History,
Mathematics,
Language Arts,
All are omnipresent
Yet no use at all
What is the meaning of Life
He asked himself
Nothing, he replied
Nothing.
