This is about the late butcher and dictator Idi Amin Dada and his Enigmatic Being. It brings forth, to the poetic world, his ruthlessness, and how he was percieved.

There once walked an ogre
Whose every step shook
This our dear mother land

Gentle giant they flattered him
As he sprouted out of the den
To be the pearl’s butcher

His slit eyes’ blood shot gaze
Scared the wits out of all, for
It was full of ill will

He always laughed alone
Because what amused him
Always scared the rest

He stained the pearl
With the blood of
 Innocent mortals

His mind was small
His English shallow
With oversized ambitions

He lusted for every thing
Power, women and blood
Lust was his greatest mar

He loved the foolish
But hated the wise
It was so despicable

He stretched to stand so high
That when he fell back
He broke into tiny pieces

When he shed tears at last
He had almost no sympathy
None trusted him as friend

For all that this Idi did and said
None can know all Amin meant
Since the Dada is dead.
