Poem about a seductive but evil demon named Lived.

A demon entered and took possession of my soul.

She was beautiful and seductive.

Her hair was long and black.

She had dark, green eyes.

Her lips were a frosty red.

Her face was quite pale.

She wore a black, low cut gown.

Her name was Lived.

She captivated me

And then she captured me.

I couldn’t get away.

I was possessed by her passion.

We made love together for many nights.

Eventually, Lived tired of me.

She tossed me aside like yesterday’s garbage.

I became a broken man.

Despair filled my heart.

Lived had left me after robbing me of everything.

Yesterday, I received a note from Lived.

It was given to me by an old friend.

The note said, “Dear Robert,

You are worthless and penniless.

This is as it should be.

Pain always follows pleasure.

Now you shall suffer immensely.

Death awaits your future.”

Your former lover,

Lived (Devil)

Very creative writing. I notice if you spell Lived backwards, it spells devil:) Great poem!

For some reason I thought about Divine Comedy (Dante) while reading this :) Beautifully written, the plot sounds familiar from somewhere :)
