Lonely broken heart

on a backdrop of poisonous fear

tear stained streams of lightening vision

blood corrupted field

cardboard cut out shapes

of people that once meant the world to me

marked with seeping crosses

across their fake, empty stomachs

words fading from my memory

like the silent salty stars

raining down from the giant void

gaping fixated wounds

fold upon fold of nothingness

beating in the perplexed air

demon seed, the planted thoughts

of demented doom

beating on my head

opening old sores

down this deserted traveled road

where my fate has departed

and nothing breathes no more

I love these lines, you really are a poet, hidden by triond, waiting to explode onto the literary scene. Need I say more? You make me want to write poetry.
